My baby is wrecked !

When I get my car back (hopefully by this Friday... knock on wood) I am going to start driving VERY defensively. I have family members who ride motorcycles and they say when you are on a bike, you have to basically drive like you are invisible. You have to assume people can't see you, because a lot of times they don't. I think I'm going to start driving around with that mentality. At least I'll have an advantage over the idiots out there.
And as far as the comment on another forum about that girl liking her Neon as much as you... that's horse do-do. I mean... look at that car. It looks like it hasn't been washed in a month, and it's got the stock 15" wheels on it... nothing special at all. You don't drive around in a stock Neon and "love" your car. And what I think is funny is her front bumper is a different color than the rest of her car. So, it's obvious she was involved in another wreck. How much you want to bet, judging by her brilliant move of pulling out blind, that wreck was her fault too?

I'm really sorry to hear about your accident. Glad you're ok and hope your beloved car gets back on the road as good as new in no time. Seeing all these wrecked Mustangs in this thread is heartbreaking.

How can you love a Dodge Neon with the same passion that we love our Stangs?
Not quite the same, but I had a 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee that I swapped Transmissions, transfer case, axles, lift, etc onto, and just about turned every bolt that existed on that thing. I traded it in 3 years ago for $2,500. I wish I still had that heep. I love my Mustang, and I loved that Jeep. It was a good Heep. Monetary value doesn't always mean you can be attached to your car.
And when I was in High school I took much better care for my $2000 Honda than the rich kids did of thier $30,000 SUV's.

Kevin, a guy loving an old Jeep or truck is one thing... but a Neon? You don't buy a Neon because you like it. You buy it because it's cheap and get's you from A to B... albeit with big bugly-looking eyes for headlights. You don't even buy a Neon SRT-4 because you like the car... you buy it because you have a little extra cash and want to get from A to B a little bit faster. Nothing wrong with a Focus. I saw a Roush Focus a while back that was pretty sweet. I mean, I wouldn't own one... but it's a nice car. If your gf uses Zaino on it, she obviously loves it. The white Neon though in question looks like it hasn't ever been hand washed... much less waxed.
