Called yesterday and got this

As of Feb 25th your unit is locked in for production. It is scheduled to be built week of Feb. 21st.

Is the "future" date of Feb 25th the day my car will actually be built?
I looked through several old posts and that date was the same as the bucked date they got later, but I'm stil not sure.
Can anyome confirm this?

Yup! Your time is near, grab a beer and have no fear. In about 14 days you'll be able to blaze!

I know my build WEEK is next week.
Found that out 2/4. My question is about my build DAY.
First the status goes from just "unit is scheduled to be built wek of..."
then once it updates, it adds in the "locked in" part and the "as of" date which is always a day in your build week. Before the "as of" date has always been the day it was updated.

See how yours was "locked in as of 2/3" and you were bucked on 2/3.
What was the exact build date of your car?
See how

Production takes 2 days. You never get a DAY, just a build week.

I was told on 02/02 "as of Feb. 9th" schedueld to be built week of 02/07, then I called on the 11th and told "as of Feb. 10th your unit has been produced" so I think the "future" date is the actual day it is built. Maybe

My question's the same as StangNut's: Will we be able to determine an actual build date, other than the "week of build" date??? All the cars I've had in the past have a "month/year" on the VIN but I can't recall ever looking (or caring to look) for the actual day.

Thanks in advance, Mark

I know it can be looked up in Ford's OASIS system after the car arrives.
The first time I took my 03 in for service, it was on the printout they gave me as a receipt. 10/24/02

If that's the case that means mine wouldn't be completed until the next week since the 25th is on Friday.

Legend05
Have you gotten the "locked in for production" thing yet?
If you have, what date does it say?

We here in canada do not have a 1 800 # to find info. We have to rely on our salesman, and he hasnt called me yet. You?

If we go by the vin#, mine is less than yours, so i'm
sure that mine is locked.

Ok. I think I'm more confused now than before.
Hey, here's an idea. How about I just be patient and wait to see.

OK. Enough of that. When's my car being built?
