WHEN WILL I KNOW?!!!!!
Go down and ask your salesman for a copy of your DORA. If they've ordered the car, you'll know from this document.

I'm in NJ, too. Send me an email if it gets ugly over there and I'll hook you up with my guy. Been very smooth so far. Scarry smooth. Can't wait for the 21st of June, but I don't see how I have a choice!

I'm 50 years old, and plan to enjoy both my 2005 GT and soon to be 2007 GT/CS. No mid-life crises here. I just want to have fun!!

Imagine having to wait until late October to either buy or even order! At least you are less than 2 weeks from bliss. You're in an enviable spot, though I can understand that it feels a bit like the night before Christmas for you.

I wouldn't call it a mid life crisis, but you know how some wives (note I said SOME, ladies) like to put their 'cute little spin' on it.

I ordered my '07 GT vert ON my 45th birthday When I bought the '05 a couple of years ago everyone asked me if I was going through a midlife crisis. I always respond that yes I am, it started when I was around 7 and hasn't ended yet I have always been a car and motorcycle nut and haven't owned fewer than 3 bikes in 20+ years. But something about the Mustang makes everyone think "mid-life crisis", LOL!

LOL. I think if I ordered the car at the spur of the moment three months ago, I prolly wouldn't be this way. But I 've been waiting for my S197 since the fall of 2004. I started a post last year that asked TMS members if they knew the color code for the GT-R. I had visions of getting a Perf White GT and painting it orange. Gave up on that idea, decided last fall to order a Vista Blue GT in March, 2006. Lo and behold (only old farts can say L&B) Ford announced Grabbah, Grabbah in Feb and the opportunity to order in March!!! So out went the VB '06, in came the GO '07.

And the rest, is history. Thank you for the complement saying I sounded 20. I re-read the posts and it sounds more like 16!!! Bless your heart... Oh, and did I mention it's 8 days to go? No?? Funny, thought I just did!

My wife tells everyone she has three kids....two daughters and one she's married to. I'll be 46 in October and will always try to set a good example for my girls (unsuccessfully at times). This doesn't mean I'm gonna act like my dad. Always say "you can grow older but you don't have to grow up".

I still thinks I will have the first '07 here at TMS. If not the first '07, certainly the first Grabber range GT here at TMS.But if I don't, does it really matter? I just have to keep myself occupied... haven't counted the hair on my knuckles lately. Maybe I'll start there?!

I know how you feel, although I did get to drive an '05 for 10 months. My GF and all the guys at work got really tired of hearing about that car before I got it though, and I'm sure the gang here at my new office are starting to get sick of hearing about the '07. I've still got about a 3 month wait, but I get really anxious whenever there's more news, like the pricing (still haven't gotten it for my order), I'm waffling about the Sirius (don't know if I'm going to like the antenna placement), and the interior. All the rest is set in stone though, and I'm lining up all the aftermarket stuff I'll be adding. Some I already had from the '05, others I will be getting this time.

And I'm 40. Feel like a 16 year old when I think about the car though. ARRGGGHHH, how much longer is it going to be? 81 days (I think). Should be getting it on Sept. 2, if all works out.

Feel like I'm back in the military, counting down my last days on an overseas assignment.

Hey, speaking of birthdays, I'll be 42 tomorrow. I called customer service today and was told my car was "in production". Wouldn't it be unbelieveably good karma if my car was born tomorrow???? I wonder if Fed Ex delivers Mustangs?
