As soon as I read the first post I started to question it simply because of the PATS key and technology. Not to say that it makes the car impossible to steal, but it takes it beyond the range of your average moron car thief. They could have a key cut EXACTLY like yours and still not get the car anywhere.

As far as getting car jacked, anyone that rides around in one of these new babies with the doors left unlocked, well you're inviting trouble. Personally, I lock my doors when driving ALL the time, even in my old beater car.
