Well my 05 was stolen last night and was found in a wreckers lot. I went to see it and it was not good. The right rear quarter panel was smashed in real bad and there was tire rubber just everywhere from the tires being smoked off. It was on the back of the car and all caked inside the wheel wells.

The interior was completely removed including the whole dash, everything. The Vin number had been tampered with and the interior was replaced with a 1967 Dodge duster's interior, it fit perfectly. :scratch:

The estimate for the damage was $6000 but after I pointed out that the interior was not the original one, that figure will rise, hopefully to a write off level.

Well at this point I woke up and realized it was a terrible nightmare. I went in the garage this morning and there it is, still nice a shiney the way I left it.

HA HA, bet I had you guys going for a minute. I did dream the interior was retro fitted with a Duster's, that was just plain weird.

Hope I never have to go through that for real, it did feel jsut terrible.

I am heading out to get an estimate for window tinting today and stripes. Just thought I would share my nightmare. I have a bad cold and with the amount of Nyquil I had before bed, I think it messed me up.

I knew it was fake when you talked about the 1967 Dodge duster's. How would you know what year and car it was? They aren't going to replace it with an interior...

Sorry to be picky but a Duster was a Plymouth (not a Dodge) and they were built from 1970-76.

 

Just make sure whomever you get to do the tint, you stay and watch. You don't want happening to you what happened to me ( see my intro.... 3RD1)

 

Drugs will do that to some, I have those kind of dreamz too. No one believes me, they think I'm nuts or just making it up have something to say. Could it be we just care to much for are Mustangs.

Isn't great to wakeup and find out it was only a nigthmare and those things do not really happen?
