hi everyone, my uncle stopped in today with his neighbors new black 05 GT automatic. One word, DOG. The car was beautiful, the fit and finish was incredible. user friendly. beautiful. i loved the IUP. But with tcs off (stock pirelli tires) from a dead stop on dry pavement the tires wouldnt spin, wide open throttle. the front end came way up, but WOULD NOT Spin. I LOVED the bullit wheels though
My overall review- Beautiful to look at, but the computer limits WAY TOO much

Try dumping the clutch from 4k with the T/C off and tell me you don't smell rubber
The other thing is, the new suspension setup hooks up better than all previous mustangs. Just because you can't squeel the tires left and right doesn't mean its a dog. 0-60 in 5sec is no dog.

"his neighbors new black 05 GT automatic"
I haven't squeeked my Tires from a stop yet.
Not from lack of trying

Unless you supercharged that v6 or something. Hard enough to get a chirp in an auto GT. 60 feet of rubber in an auto v6, huh?
Sorry for the

If I brake torque it to 2000rpm, I'll lay thick rubber down for about 40 ft

Doug I will take your word, that Jester was joking around because I am not a whimp nor a woman and love my auto GT. She will will cherp the tires on a hard take-off. I find no need what so ever to smoke the tires on a take-off, why waste the tires? The car hooks and goes, I find that very pleasing. To any that may be curious, I even ordered the car with an auto after my only test drive of an 05 GT was a manual. Isn't that kinda strange I just love it
Tony, what major differences do you find in the car after the tune?

First rule of TMS is you can't get offended by George. Now George, no more comments like that or I'll have to increase your warning level.
Second, I test drove an auto GT. Now, it was cold outside and the car really had some oomph but I could hear the tires losing traction on dry pavement. I'm sorry, but I refuse to believe its not possible without a brake stand.
