My '05 Experience

Hello everyone....last night i had the opportunity to ride shotty in a lime green 05, tan interior (IUP), GT, manual.
Lemme tell ya!....anyone who hasnt been in this car is going to be impressed beyond belief. The ride is 5 times as good as the current model and it sounds absolutely amazing.
The shifter is great (really short) and the guy that took me for a ride said that he is horrible at stick but for some reason this car was extremely easy to drive.
He told me that the team originally had a very loud exhaust on it but had to tune it down dude to the gov't. So you guys know what that means....a cat-back should add quiet a bit of HP and make it a lot louder as well.
He said the alarm system is great on the vehicle and even has a sensor for someone reaching in.
One thing i really noticed was how solid the doors were on the car. That was a really nice feature that no one that i know of has mentioned on this forum.
The car pulled pretty hard although he did not give it full throttle so i guess i cant really comment much in that area. This car was a blast to drive in and i cant remember the last time i was as excited as i was in a vehicle.

how did you manage to snag a drive?
If the exhaust was too loud originally, you probably just have to swap mufflers to get that awesome sound we all want
