no, but its the stitched dash and cushy stitched armrests and center console cover. I'm sure the dash would be a ***** to change, but the door and console armrests probably wouldn't be that big a deal or expensive. With people changing heater controls to 07's for no good reason, I'm suprised I don't see anyone doing the PTP stuff 
They talk about it here and one guy got custom leather on his armrests, looks awesome

I never thought about it, but a good shop could give you a leather console ala Jaguar if you wanted it.
And scott drake is coming out with a leather stitched cover for the center console armrest.

Scott Drake has been coming out w/these freakin console covers for like a year now
I just called and the guy said he doesn't know when they're coming

Were there even any other cars in the "mid-size sporty" catagory?
Door handles that fall apart, seat back ***** that break, floor mats that fall apart, bumpers that come apart, whiny transmissions and all those rattles, tires that constantly vibrate....and a dealer network that doesn't give a rip to boot.
I can't for the life of me see how these poorly engineered, cars with all their cheap parts could have won an award.
Sorry, but when a car like that wins, it shows the awards for what they really are. Self Serving Marketing.

I think the people doing these awards probably get an 1hrs test time for each car and are impressed by each cars hi-lights. They don't live in the car long enough to notice how fast the quality breaks down on some parts, how temperature changes affect those annoying noises, etc.
I do enjoy driving my Gt but it's the poor engineering design of systems that should be flawless given Ford's been in business since what, 1903. Basics like upper strut bearings noisy, fuel tanks that won't fill, diffs that make noise, HVAC that doesn't feed heat to the floor because they say the system will howl. Come on, these are parts that shouldn't have problems because they've been in mustangs for years. I think they've had enough time to work it out. I expect problems from new tech like global windows, the odd squeak, parts that may need a small tweak with a clamp, ty-rap etc.
I give Ford credit though. This is the first Ford I've had that hasn't had power steering pump whine.
