I had one dang near kill me last year, came right at the windshield of my truck. $6000 worth of damage. Funny thing was the carcas was not on the road 30 seconds when some redneck got out of his truck, cut the head off, and took it home. No lie.

Thats like my worst nightmare, i have already had some Yuppie `~!@#$% back into me ($14,000). I leave for work @ 4:30am and travel 25mi of freeway. They are all over the place... live ones dead ones. Even a fresh dead one can do some damage if you run over it.

Here in Colorado we only count one side of the rack on our deer and elk. But a 5 point elk would demolished that Mustang.I glad no one was hurt.

People underestimate the damage that hitting a deer will do to a vehicle. Atleast no one got hurt.

My aunt's car got hit by a deer once, the thing just ran into the side of her car. Lots of damage.

One of my friends had just purchased a (new to him) 1985 or so car. He had it less than 24 hours when a buck jumped out in front of him, demolishing the car. Luckily, my friend was OK. The buck didn't die in the collision, however. My friend was so mad, he ripped the front bumper off his car (which was mostly off anyway) and beat the deer the rest of the way dead.

Same here in BC! I`m still trying to talk to my cousin in Missouri on the phone and get all the details. I was just in your neighborhood recently and caught this guy browsing along the hiway west of Berthoud Pass. I wouldn`t want to tangle with him in my Mustang, I`d lose !

That is my worst nightmare out here in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. There's a lot of open spaces out here, along with forest preserves. I took out a doe with my '02 Ranger, thankfully it just moved the bumper a bit and cracked the plastic grille, which I replaced with a billet one. A little bumper adjustment and everything was all good.
