the 2005 mustang gt was at the 2004 mustang memories car show in Livonia, mi...I took about 50 pictures. As I was looking and sitting in the car I remembered some of the conversations on this board. I looked in the glove box and there was not a truck release button, so it's just the key fob remote or the key slot in the truck. I looked at the gas cap since I remember at on time some people were saying it had a locking gas cap...it had just a regualr gas cap as the other mustngs have...the interior was REALLY comfortable with everything in arms length (i'm 5'10"). I did notice that on the front wiondsheild just behind the mirror was a mustang horse and a dot matrix pattern on the glass it self, I had not heard of this in this forum so that was something different I noticed. Some guys who worked at the AAI plant were also looking at the car, I asked them if the horse and dotmatrix was like that on the latest mustangs they have been building and they said yes that all mustang will have that. For me the was kind of bad since I will be tinting the windows and tint and dot matrix patterns do not get along well. I will post a few pics and if anyone would like to view the rest click on the link below.

So I take it that the GT had the shaker 1000 stereo system from the pics of the subs in the trunk, is that correct?

Nice.. The old mustang dot matrix carries on.
My 02 has the same thing, however this is slightly different...
The space is larger and has an angle to the line.....
whereas the current one is a rectangle.
No locking gascap?
Hrm...wonder if thats part of the security package (alarm etc)
Mustang font in the door sill minus the aluminum plate....looks alright...
better than nothing...
Very cool man...
Thanks

Gosh those wheels get uglier everytime i see them where as the fan blades grew on me. I have given those rims a fair shot at impressing me, and they have just annoyed me more and more. Otherwise, Awesome Pics!
Have an awesome day!

Boomer, the "MUSTANG" in the door sill doesn't have the aluminum because that car doesn't have the IUP, is my guess. If you get the IUP, I'm sure the aluminum will be there like on the other pics we have seen.
Great pics, and 51... nice job. Some angles we haven't seen yet.
The question I have.. I noticed that the wheel center caps on this car, as well as other cars recently posted, are black with the Ford oval, instead of gray as pictured on earler pre-production cars. They were also silver/gray on the display of the 3 production wheels. What is everyone's take on this? Do you think they are going with black center caps, instead of silver. And if they are black on the upgrade machined wheels, I take it they will be black on th standard bullitt wheels?
