MUSTANG Hood Pins With Pictures!

Now I've seen two thousand different hood pin sets, from anodized black to some cheesy zinc plated looking ones. I don't want anything that is going to eventually rust and spread to my hood or turn color that it looks like crap.

Naturally price is a consideration otherwise I'd buy the Shelby ones for north of a c note.

Thank you all for your help. I look forward to seeing what you all have and what you think of it.

Rob

1st: Do you want them for looks or to actually hold the hood down?

2nd:What's the look you're going for? It seems to me there are 3 styles:

A)Sparco style:

B) Shelby Style:

C) Aerocatch

D) Yes there's an option D. WMS makes stealth hood pins. The pins screw to the underside of your hood and these latch blocks hold it in place. nothing shows with the hood closed

I'm sure I neglected a couple types of pins

Personally, I have the Shelby's and they've held up great over the last year. They still look new. I don't use the cables though.

I just realized I forgot twist-lock (like the Cervini's Retro). Here's a close up:

Which ones work the best for just holding it down? Is there one that works better? I've noticed my hood is dancing on the hw now.

I believe the Cervinis pins require specific Cervinis hoods IIRC.

The app can't handle the great quality pics that the iPhone takes.
