Funny true story. I emailed the link to my wife, telling her "let's get a garage queen." She called me immediately saying, "oh my god, this guy here at work forwarded me this thing this morning telling me to pass it on to my husband, and I told him 'no way'!" (and she didn't... the guy has an Evo and knows about my mustang).

Too funny. I wouldn't be surprised if these are gone in a heartbeat. Wonder how quickly the first 25 sold.

Anyone call? Says they are returns from a "performance fleet". A lot of Perf White in the inventory. If I could get a windveil blue in an auto, I may be able to talk the wife into it

They all came from the saleen auction, 40 cars total, in blue or white. I was told they have less than 10 left.

Here's the auction they came from...http://www.1800lastbid.com/auction/l...0&group=8&ID=1

And the price includes a $500 Ford Credit rebate, which means you much use them to get it. Problem is, Ford Credit's standard rate is close to 10%, where as a local bank/Credit Union is ALOT LESS. So one would have to add back in the $500 rebate if you don't use FMC. Still an AWESOME deal though!!!

Jeff, you local Ford Credit branch is hosing you! Our local Ford Credit branch's standard rate allows us to make a little money at a 6.99% sell rate to the public (up to 60 months) or 7.25% for 72 months. A standard rate of 10% is just plain craziness.

The rates are regional Brian, thats the way it is. I know what retension rate is, and its just under the number I posted. Alot of the banks in my area are NOT buying ANY loans right now.

That price is unbelievable and according to the ad looks like the same options on the one I just got in Southern CA. My '08 GT has leather, sirius, and the scoop/rounded exhaust...sticker was around 28700. I paid 23600 OTD including tax,tags,freight..etc. But to get the 500 rebate, dealer said to finance with Ford for 3 mos minimum. So I'm at some some joke rate of like 9%. So for 3 months I'll pay an extra 20 bucks a month.....to save 500 overall and then I'm financing with my credit union, whose rate is 1/2 that.

Hey bud, congrats on your car! The Ford Credit rebates are truely nuts! They have them and its not convenient for the customer at all, with the higher rate (which is a joke, but its what it is. In my region its basically 10%! ) You dealer is correct though, finance for 3 months (long enough to float the loan) and then switch to your CU. For the small amount extra per month for the 1st 3 months, its worth it to grab the extra $500.

And the cars from Galpin? And these cars were purchased "new" from the Saleen auction. Thats why they were able to sell them for that little. Still new on dealer MSO, and able to use rebates.

Thanks to these ******** the market value of my 07 just took another nose dive.
I wouldn’t be surprised to see dealers start selling off inventory closer to these prices.
Kelly Blue Book says my car is worth $17,850 on a car with a sticker of $31K, but I would be lucky to get that is today’s market.
It is a **** shame when a new car’s value has dropped 50% in a year and a half.

Thanks goes out to the morons that bought a house they couldn't afford...golf clap!!

I'd buy a 2nd one in a heart beat if I had extra $$. Hopefully the next platform will be better looking than 2010 models.
