mustang 2005 -future designs
#1
Ok,
I am a real fan of the the base model of the new Mustang 2005 and Ford I will be
purchasing one this year.
However, I have several recommendations regarding how the model should be evolved going forward.
I think that the model is true to the 68 with modern design notes of the Mercedes
SLK. I think that future designs of the mustang should include these design notes
not only in the front facia but rear facia.
Also I really like to use of flat black on the rocker panels and believe that it should
be incorporated into the lower door and bumper areas as on the Audi --This gives
it a very X series look of futuristic aircraft. Remember the importance of the aerospace industry to automobiles of the 60s.
I am not a big fan of the GT model as other viewers have also said. I would recommend that Ford incorporate more of the design features of the base
model into the GT -less sexed up and more performance oriented while keeping with the overall simplicity of the base model.

Yes thats right... I'm posting in a n00b's thread. Again. Gee guy, normally I would harrass the n00b (you) about posting new threads about old topics. However, I will not.
This is because you are posting new threads about current topics. And to think I thought this could get no more egregious. Silly me. Now this thread would have been at home in the Photoshop threads which are conviently locked in position above these. As your second post would have fit into the Advertising thread... also above us.
We thank you for your prompt payment.

I put this new post in because I wanted to send a message
to Ford that they should be creative in how they evolve
their mustang going forward -WHICH YOU CAN BET THEY
ARE ALREADY THINKING ABOUT NEXT GEN CAR.
I was so unimpressed with their Cobra prototype that
I got kind of worried that all they had run out of
new ideas in their design shop.
There is alot that they can do. My recommendation
which was new - I DIDN'T SEE ANYONE ELSE
MAKING IT -was to add black to the bumpers
and door frame to give it an X type aircraft
or futuristic look to a reto.

You keep talking about how they ought to build the car to look like european sedans. The Mustang is an AMERICAN car through and through. If you want something that looks european, why dont you go buy a European car??
In the meantime

Last time I saw an "X-type" aircraft, I dont remember black bumper and rocker panel paint The aero-look was when they had aircraft hood ornaments, and fins and tail lights that had the shape of jet engines in the 50's. heck a 51 Ford had a huge jet intake for a grille, woot. Mabye the 1981 toyota tercell with the huge black rubber bumpers was way ahead of its time
yea baby just like this:

Is it just me or does every youngster become a "euro-nut" right before they get their license?
