Can I take my body off my v6 n put it on the frame of a v8 or would it be easier to just swap the motor, trans driveshaft and rear end onto my v6

You have a unibody car. You can't take it off of a frame because there is no frame. You will have to swap the guts out of a v8 into your car.

In all honesty is is much more effielcient to just buy a v8 Stang. Your gonna spend more than its worth doing the swap.

Mustang's are Uni-body cars.. there is no body to take off a frame. Drivetrain swap is your best bet.

Why not just form the body out of resin and fiberglass? It would probably cost a bit less but the again it would probably blow off as soon as you took it down the freeway..

OP. the engine is supported by a "cradle" framework support bolted under the front end of your car. That entire assembly can be dropped with the engine and trans and swapped on to your car. If that's what you meant. Bone, take it easy, some people don't do this for a living.

If you do this let me know how it goes. I have an 05 V6 and am considering getting a gt within the next year or 2.

Why don't you boost it? You can run a supercharger or turbo for less cost potentially than going up to a full blown GT..

I'm with you. Build the engine and do a twin Turbo set up. It would be one mean stang...

Right. So then he is driving around in a v6 maxed to its limits and has the potential to go boom anytime. You do not want a boosted v6 for a DD. A side toy? Sure.

Best way is to trade up to a gt. but an engine swap, the car will technically still be classified as a sixer and cheaper on insurance.
