Well, if your like me and like to do your own oil changes. Plus, you like to keep your Stang in Top Shape, here's something to check out. I just found out about this on Friday and did my oil change today. I beleive Anything that 'could' help keep my Stang running better, then I'm all for it. To me, it's like cheap insurance. Worth every penny.

I used to have a magnetic strap that fit around the oil filter back in the 60's that was suppose to help reduce the the amount of metal shavings that were circulating through the system. I never knew if worked or not but it made me feel better. This is probably sort of the same thing.

What is it, a magnet for your oil filter??? I checked out the link but couldn't really make out what it is or what it does??? Using a magnetic oil plug screw does the same thing. It pulls all the metal fragments to the bottom of the pan so they empty out when you drain the pan.

Well yes, magnetic plugs have been around, but unless all of the oil passes close enough to it, it won't catch as much. But, in the filter, all oil passes inside the filter, so I think it would catch more shavings. Plus, if your plug is magnetic, how do you remove the shaving from it? These Engine Sentry's can't be re-used. But agian, I think it's cheap insurance for my ride!
