Question Mufflers

OK I am not sure what I am going to get yet ether a 07 or 08 GT this summer. But I have listened to all the audio I can find on mufflers I don't like that popping sound that sounds like some kind of Rice burner when you push on the gas and let it off and the engine winds back down to idle. My question is what mufflers can I get for kinda cheap that will give me that Deep stock car sound that sounds like the stock mufflers only a little louder and deeper? Just the mufflers. I am also assuming that the mufflers will fit on a 08 cause I don't think there are any changes in that part of the car.

Thanks

FRPP GTA mufflers from Ninosports.com. Deeper sound, 4" double walled tips, and prided JSUt right. WOT sounds much more agressive and idle has a much deeper tone.

Best of all no drone at any speeds.

gots-ta love the flows

also, when u said u heard a "popping" sound, i got that for about a week after i installed mine. since it went away i just assumed it was the car adjusting. also could have been the fact that it was cold as a motha fukca out there. either way.........if u want cheap and a sweet sound go flow.

i love downshifting and getting that gurgle when im passing through town. the headturns are priceless

at first, yes it will seem alittle loud inside. once a friend of mine got stuck riding in the backseat and as me and my other friend were talking to him from up front, hes yelling...WHAT?!?!?! JAY STOP DRIVING SO FRIGGIN LOUD! that was the last time i had someone in the back. it really isnt that loud up front, just blast some metallica black album and ull be fine (it was the first metal cd i played in her).

like DynamicmustangGT said, once u have them and get used to it, ull want louder. i know i do. but as an entry muffler they are perfect.

Did you look at the Flowmaster American Thunders? I think that is what most people have on these cars since they are designed to just bolt on. The 40 series would have to be installed by a shop and welded in. The A/T's were designed just for this car so that is what most people use.
