I was changing the muffler on my dads mustang and I stripped one of the band clamps on the pipe coming from the muffler. Yep, I'm retarded.

Does anyone know a place online where I can order one of these. The only thing the local auto parts stores have are the thin U clamps. I tried on and the pipe leaks because of the slit in the end of the pipe which a band clamp normally closes.

Does this clamp have a step in it, as in, it is 2.5" and then gets just a little wider about half way or is it just like the one that is stock. There are 2 pictures.

I'm giving my Dad who has a V6 one of my old GT mufflers. The lip of the GT pipe flair out at the end a little so im a little affraid that the one with the step half way won't slip over the end of the pipe.

 

This is what I think won't work. If I'm wrong let me know.
