Good story. I was leaving work yesterday in my 05 coupe and was driving on the service drive (Southfield for those of you in this area). As I was getting near the entrance to the highway I notice this black 05 stang vert with a tan top coming from the Ford parking lot. So naturally, as I always do, I flash my lights and give a quick wave and the driver of the vert gave me a quick wave as well. Then as I get closer I see the driver give me a thumbs up and a smile....then I see the driver clearly....OMG.....that's Bill Ford!!

I love the fact that Bill can drive his GT40....XK8.....T-Bird.....or any of his Austin's.....but no, he choses to drive his 2005 Mustang!!

What a great car this is!

I just don't get what that has to do with Bill Ford driving a Mustang.

No wonder you are having a hard time finding insurance and financing without the help of the forums Jcopin......

Thanks for sharing that information. It is good to know Bill Ford would pick the 05 Vert over his other cars to drive.

Although it probably would have been nice to see, I highly doubt it. I know for a fact he also owns a red coupe with all black interior. When I was at AAI watching mine being built, my buddy took me to this section of a garage and showed me Bill's coupe mustang. He said the "finishers" re-crimped the tail pipes 7 times to ensure that both exited the car precisely!! Imagine what other "extra" quality controls were put on place with Bill's mustangs.....must be nice.
