Fresh off the newstand here in NY on my way to the AutoShow today! Nice read, definitely makes me feel better about not being able to afford the Shelby GT500.
Speaking of which you'll be able to find that article in the Shelby section. It's not a Cobra according to MT. As always it's a pleasure to give back to TMS for all Brad and everyone does for the site! Enjoy

They only got a 13.00 flat with a blower

Somebody doesn't know how to drive it
We've got forum members turning better slips for a lot less

That should be a mid to high 12's car with no problem.

Yay! More stuff I get to spend all my money on! I like the analogy to the '66 350SC models.

The Baer Racing brakes didn't improve the stopping distance? 110 HP improved the 0-60 by .4 seconds, but the 1/4 mile was only .5 better?

Seems like a whole lotta BS to me.

Obviously a lot of people don't know this especially when you have Cobra emblems all over the car(Front, both sides, rear and on the steering wheel). There are atleast 5 cobra emblems(not counting on the wheels which I know people will add), the only thing that's missing is COBRA on the rear bumper. Even the forum says Shelby Cobra...I'm just the messenger spreading the word, praise be to Brad!

Oh and actually it's a Shelby GT500 if you wanna be technical.

That's what I said, GT500, the only Shelby car that had the name Cobra in it is a two seat roadster. Oh and the forum is misnamed...
