My 05 Mustang GT has so far had less problems then my 03 Accord Coupe 6 speed which was also a first year car. I love my Mustang and so far my service by the Ford dealer has been great. I always got a feeling that my Honda dealer didn't think their cars could break. lol

This seems slightly skewed. How many new vette owners are there compared to '05/06 mustangs? There's probably a few hundred thousand of us, and probably less than 50k for '05'06 for the vettes?

OF course if someone were to invest 50k in a car it better satisfy them.

Uhm, do you understand percentages? You don't think 50,000 Corvette owners would be enough for a reliable survey?

Heh... we don't even have a Sears around here in California. Honestly... I think the closest Sears is 20 miles away. As much as I love old companies (for example... Ford Motor Company) I just have no respect for Sears. They really fell apart, and I personally wouldn't trust my car with them.

Anyways... Yeah yeah, Mustang, Prius, Corvette all good cars. One is 50 grand, one "saves" them gas money, albeit bring them a $400/month payment, and one is a Mustang. Fast as a Corvette (for all intensive purposes...) and as useful and "cheap" as a Prius.
Everybody wins who buys Mustang!
All win who buys a Corvette too, but man... I would be furious if I didn't like it and it cost so much!

Man I hate the Prius.

It will be a forgotten trendy car but not soon enough.

Reminds me of the Pacer. "big on the inside small on the outside" propaganda.

I would NOT have bought a Mustang before the S197.

Heh, me too actually. Sorry Fox and sn95 owners.

I doubt any non 05+ owners are going to read this post, so... The s197 is not really a Mustang. It's a completely different car with the Mustang moniker.

I hear C5 Z06's and C6 Z06's, even more so, are incredible cars. One of my best friends has a C5 Z06 and he would stick his wiener down the gas tank if he could (he's a previous sn95 owner). Pfft, whatever. With the dominant Mustang aftermarket, I'm positive I can make my 05 out accelerate and out corner a stock C5 or C6 Z06.

You cant compare stock car to mod car. But you can compare the amount of money invested in the car.

Always been a mustang fan since the late 60s early 70s. I swore I wouldnt own another sports car and I wouldnt have bought a new mustang but the retro design drew me in.
Since I bought the s197 body style, Its weird, but I now find the sn95 to be a better looking stang than I used to think...
