the boy racer is nothing more than a body kit and a pretty weak stereo install.

read the specs. it looks a little more then a body kit and weak stereo install to me could be why it took home a best of show award at sema last year

silly rabbit, tricks are for kids.

out here in SoCal, the boy racer makes lots of appearances...and I have talked to the team alot. Very dissapointing...all show and no go.

First, The whipple was only on for Sema...and they could never get it to run because of hood clearence issues. They took it off right after. ever see the boy racer with its hood up? show me a pic...because they wont open it for you. Why do you think its taking Whipple (IF it comes out next year as claimed) nearly 2 years since SEMA to produce a Whipple SC for retail.

I forgot about the brembos, drop, and the interior dress up.

But performance wise...its just another GT.

it didnt even have the whipple on for SEMA, and there is a pic of the hood open with the whipple in the latest 5.0 but after talking to the owner of the company that is more than likely a picture provided by whipple. the hood has never been open on this car at any show for a reason, and the excuse is that they took the whipple off cuz they couldnt close the hood with it on, they claim to have it laying around the shop somewhere, the first show the car did right after SEMA was a show i put together and the guy wouldnt open it up nor rev it and when he drove up and away in it, it definately didnt have one on there nor had much mods if any at that time because it was the quietest car at the show. The car is mostly show, but hey thats what they built it for right?

true...but this thread was for most far out award. If all show and no go is "most far out"....then I give up.

most far out is a personal opinion. You might notice that so far the people that received the most "kudos" have done both, performance and show. This really should not be up for debate. Just say the 3 cars you like the best and call it a day. Then again, I also thought this was just regarding members vehicles and not every mustang on the planet.

Ooohh, can I play?!

Just give me another 72 hours or so...

I've got wheels, tires, and 14" brakes hopefully going on this weekend and all the custom body and paint work is finished. I just haven't posted pics because it's on the stock wheels right now...kinda funny looking, even though I love the stock Bullitt's.

Here's a quick list of what I've done to mine:

(Stock car is a Mineral Grey GT with Parchment interior, IUP, and an Automatic trans.)

-Street Scene body kit with ducktail spoiler
-RK Sport California Dream hood
-Custom graphics designed by me and done by APE Wraps
-ATI ProCharger w/Intercooler (~9psi)
-Custom SCT tune by Racer's Edge Tuning
-Borla cat-back system
-Forgeline SP3P 3-Piece wheels with gunmetal centers 19x9 and 19x10
-14" 4-Piston Precision Brakes Company brakes on all 4 corners
-BF Goodrich GeForce T/A 275/35 19 and 295/35 19
-Eibach ProKit
-Katzkin Leather custom seats (as of next week)
-Auto Meter Boost and A/F gauges in pillar
-Interior trim package (brushed aluminum)
-Sequential taillights
-Blacked out tail panel
-Billet pedals
-Tinted windows

I think that about covers it. After SEMA I'm tackling the suspension and rear end gears!

Right now my votes go to:

1. GhostGT (A car after my own heart, even though right now it's all show)

2. Adrenalin (Likewise. Beautiful car.)

3. vc4life (Not saying I like the wheels, just that it's outrageous.)

Now, can anyone see a trend in my voting?

I'd vote for myself, but I don't wanna seem full of myself...
