OMG WTF!?!
Anyways, I made a mix for my '66 that could be used for a 2005 if need be. The title would have to be modified (the current title is "Get Your Kicks in a '66") though.
Gone in 60 Seconds - "Boost Me" (the Eleanor music) with the high vocal notes from "Nothing But You" by Paul Van Dyk supplementing the choral sounds. When "Boost Me" hits its climax before the chase-y part, "Do You Realize??" by The Flaming Lips starts. This goes on for its duration until the end, where I have three seperate two-rev engine sounds (actually the sound of a 427 Cobra, but not many notice) before a song I found called "Ford Mustang" with French lyrics starts. No idea on the person who made it or even the real title. I just know it's a neat song.
When that hits a part where some tires screech as if a car is losing control, "Chateau" by Rob Dougan starts. This plays for its entirety, and then I start having some fun with the mix. "Little Red Corvette" by Prince starts playing, but the moment the chorus starts up and he actually says "Corvette," he gets punched out by the dude from the end of the Ludacris "Roll Out" track while a clip from Beck's "High 5 (Rock the Catskills)" tells someone to put on another record. That other record is "Tetsujin" by Don Davis and Juno Reactor, which starts at about the halfway point and continues until its end.
When "Tetsujin" ends, the oldies portion of the mix begins, with "Wouldn't it Be Nice" by the Beach Boys, "Surfing Drums" by D!ck Dale, and "All Day and All of the Night" by The Kinks playing.
Now it gets complicated again. The full "Nothing But You" plays, and when it's over, other car songs try to get started up, but each get jaw-jacked. "Little GTO," "409," and a return attempt by "Little Red Corvette" are all silenced before "Mustang Sally" begins, and a clip of some applause accompanies the start of the singing. When "Mustang Sally" ends, you hear the 427 rev again before the final part of "The Overture to William Tell" begins, and the mix rides that until the end.
It's much more coherent than it appears in text form.
