More shifter woes, Auto tranny

Hey guys well, after I had my shifter replaced I have noticed some weird problems when I use the shifter the unlock button on the shifter sometimes goes in all the way and others not, I also noticed that when I though it was in reverse it was actually in dead space between N and R and the car was not really going anywhere, then today I had her in Drive and I noticed that the pedal responce was poor and the car seemed heavier(?) when stopping and the throttle responce was still poor, She also seemed to have a hard time rolling foward when I put it in Drive and not applying the gas pedal. So basically does this sound serious or is it something that could go away as the shifter get broken in?

no a shifter should not need broken in , you got problems . And I would get it back to the dealer a s a p . Sounds like they didnt install it right , either a bad shifter out of the box , or the tech didnt adjust the cabhle correctly . Ford techs are becomming parts replacers instead od mechanics , its a sad thing

Well, it's in the shop today said they are going to look at it. You know I get a bad felling they are going to tell me they can't find a problem, at which point I will probably go ape **** on them. They are nice guys and do good work but they just don't trust the customers sometimes.
