hello all... ive seen the pictures of the legend lime and windveil blue on this website and some others. if any of you have more pictures of these colors (from autoshows, other websites) please post them up for us all to see. these two colors are the ones that are most difficult to predict. thanks alot.

the legend lime color to me is the best. but the windveil blue is up there

 

 

I'll have to wait until I see it in person, but Windveil Blue is really growing on me.

I don't think it would go well with a parchment interior, but we shall see.

 

i dunno. windveil doesnt do it for me. it just isn't loud enough. i need somethinf BOLDER for my 'stang

 

I'm wanting lengend lime.. but convincing the hubby is another story.. He thinks it may be too much of a girly color.. much like my 2001 cyber green beetle

 

uh oh, shouldnt of have gotten the green beetle, now his mind is corrupted. j/k
does anyone have a pic of a classic cobra in lime, so amy can show her hubby that this color means business, and that its not a girly shade

 

i prefer the legend lime myself

 

here, i found a beautiful pic of a classic stang in lime. show this to your husband, he SHOULD change his mind about the color. if it doesnt change his mind, i would think about a divorce, nothing should stand in the way between you and your stang J/K

That is one nice car. Will the new color be the same? I can't tell from the pics I've seen.

yeah its a lighter shade of the car above. i like the windveil blue b/c when i blow the doors off the honda next to me i am going to really be gone when i blend in with the horizon in front of him!



edit.........that and i have bright red and bright orange now. so i have enough cars that scream LOOK AT ME!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Amy, I'd suggest laying low with your dream color until the two of you can see it in person. I've noticed a lot of the people here who actually have seen the lime really go for it. The pics, imo, do make it seem like a "girly" choice, but I'm trusting the taste of the guys here who have flipped over it that I'm not right.

You might also look at the photoshop forums here and see if anyone has worked on a green '05 and made it look more macho. You could even make a request. Some of these guys are brilliant! Have them play around with some custom graphics or masculine hood scoop or something.

If all else fails, he sees it in person next fall and hates it, tell him it's a sleeper color the cops won't notice!

I don't know if you'v eseen these yet...I took them at the 40th Celebration. Lime looks awesome in bright sunlight.

 

those are the pics that changed my mind. i was either gonna pic black or red, but these pics changed everything

 

sweet pictures revolver... exactly what i was looking for. im definitely going with legend lime... its a one of a kind color on the road. ive seen a couple of windveil like colors on different cars (i.e lexus rx330) but the legend lime is unique

 

I agree. I've always hated green cars, but that looks really sweet...especially with the rocker panel stripes. I'll probably still go with Sonic Blue, but I can easily see why someone would choose Lime.
