Modular Depot supercharges a V6 Mustang

Jim and I shot emails back and forth a few times about mods for his automatic equipped 2005 Mustang V-6 Coupe. He finally decided on an Intercooled Stage II Procharger, Ford Racing dual exhaust, our custom dyno tune, Ford Racing limited slip differetial and 4.10 gear.

I drove the car with all of the mods on it besides the 4.10 and limited slip. We did a little transmission tweaking on the dyno. I was thoroughly impressed with how hard the car pulled. It was neat to hear a V6 bark the tires in between shifts. This car is going to give a lot of stock Mustang GTs, and other cars a big surprise.

Check out the pics and the amazing dyno graph.

Cool to see something different. As much as I appreciate a Whipple on a GT, they're getting to be run of the mill these days. So, a ProCharger on a V6 is certainly an attention getter!

By the way, Jim's gonna need more tire under that V6 Mustang now!

That's cool!!

Now if someone would make a Plenum cover for the V6 it would look cool too.

The Procharger does for the V-6 what the Whipple does for the 3V engine

I got to drive it after the 4.10 was installed and your right, he definitely needs more tire than the stock puny factory tires

I don't think I have seen it, but it sounds pretty mean.

Yeah I thought it was a cool build that was out of the ordinary.

Agreed on the Plenum cover. I love what they do for the 3V.

Honestly besides the noise that the V6s make, it's pretty **** cool to see 'em go fast.
