Hi everyone! I've been a Mustang fan for a while and finally got a hold of my dream car. White 2008 Mustang GT Premium. While it comes with a nice package and the previous owner did some nice upgrades to the intake, exhaust and suspension, I'd like to do some appearance mods, but can't make up my mind. I'm afraid I might not do a great job. Here are some pictures: https://www.instagram.com/mustang.gt.miami
Not even close to being done yet. Best advice, watch marketplace like crazy. I got the strut brace for $90. The wheels and tires for $200 off a 2014 stang.
Cool! Yeah, the strut brace seems to be the easiest and DYI mod. I think that'll be the first.
The wheels are in good shape, with a few scratches, but I'll take your advice and watch the marketplace. Maybe I can come across the same wheels in better condition.

Black or silver metalic stripes look great on all white cars, red or blue is OK to.
I like the look of the black panel on the back, even own one, but it's magnetic and while I did put it on one day for curiosity, I only had it on the car a few minutes. I have it in the basement after seeing what they do to paint, like those magnetic signs on buisiness vehicles.

Look on Amazon, Bravex coil packs. I got the set for like $60, been running them for over a month now, no issues. I keep the factory ones in the trunk just in case. I think they come in red or yellow, maybe blue too. I wouldn't let the magnets rub the paint either.
Just a thought for you. The CS/GT side panel scoops, front fascia, and rear fascia's for the bolder look, than the GT fascias. Painted white looks really good in my opinion. White painted mirror caps also. I have all black, just the opposite.
love this basic look of the CS/GT (below for reference). I'm not 100% on the CS/GT stripe, but all in all, nice.
Here is my 07 after the CS fascia and side scoop swap, with the 18 inch wheels. Sonya is a v6, but I like the way she turned out. She's fun in the mountains.

You might also like to upgrade the outside mirrors to ones from the 10-14 model. They have the convex mirror corner and are so much easier to see out the sides for the blind spots we have. You can also upgrade your interior with 10-14 visors (lighted), and speaker grilles with either a chrome or satin finish. Does your 08 have Mycolor dash? Lighted console cup holders?
with the trunklid honeycomb panel, the 1/4 window covers, the black trim on the tail lights and the rear window louvre, I think the chrome trim ring for the GT badge above the license plate has gotta go
