good choices, but i would go with:

18 inch Fanblades with black inserts

Possibly a hood similar to concept

ducktail

possibly red racing stripes so the car looks like the one on my avatair

tinted windows

a radar detector

a viper two way transmiter-stinks that the automatic start only works on fuel-injected autos though.

and the shaker 1000 seems shaweeeet so i dont think ill be needing an aftermarket audio system.

so let me get this right... u want to get a GT but turn it into a v6 in stylin?

this might seem a lil stupid but y not just save the extra moneyu u would be spending on that GT and just get a v6? and dont be like but i want a v8 not a v6, because IMHO its freaking stupid to literally turn a GT into a lower model just so that u can have the v8

but hey each to his own.
Yep. I do want a GT but with some V6 cues. They look better in my opinion. Since it's my car, I should be able to make it mine. Not everyone elses, mine.

Why is it stupid?

Such an ugly word. :notnice: :nono:

I'm pretty sure that the savings in not getting a GT to achieve a look can not be then added to make the V6 perform like the GT. I'm reasonably sure that THAT would be a very much more expensive undertaking. We're talking brakes, exhaust, and oh yeah, the entire drivetrain. Not cheap aftermarket. And since I don't want a V6 in the first place, that's not gonna happen, now is it?

And I do not want a V6 totally in styling. I like the bumpers, dual exhaust, etc. just fine. It's the fog lamps and badges I do not like. And I said I would probably get other badges I DO like. When you get down to it, the grille, bumpers, badges (including the "gas cap") and wheels are all that makes the GT different looking from the V6. So my changes are very minimal, and do not make it a lower model, just a different looking GT.

You sure are judgemental. How mean. So you don't like it. Fine. And you want to say that. Fine. But calling me stupid? You don't know me. Go away.

Sorry. I just really hate the word 'stupid.' Especailly when preceeded by some modifier like 'freaking.'

And now, commences several posts calling me 'moronic' or 'imbecelic' or, quite possibly, 'freaking stupid.'

Oh, and the 'draulics and pine tree freshener? Kidding y'all.

hey im not saying ur stupid im just saying that in my opinion turning a gt into a v6 for stylin is stupid IMO... but hey each to his/her own. everyone is different and that would be different and hey if yah dont put on an older models gt emblem then ud have the ultamite sleeper. everyone will think its a v6 and ud blow the doors off of the camaros and firebirds

gees some people are just so touchy now-a-days oh wells nothings going to change i guess.

My mods are going to go like this.

1. Paint muffler cans black (this will happen on day 1, literally).
2. White vinyl racing stripes
3. Tinted windows
4. Mufflers (iff the stock ones are too quiet)
5. Springs, shocks, struts (iff ride height turns out to be 4x4)
6. 18" wheels & tires
7. Ducktail.
8. Kenne Bell.

Not being mechanically inclined, but liking the look...how can I obtain the red brake caliper look??? Is it paint or a special purchase I'll be needing? Thanks!

Funny you should bring that up, I was thinking about getting these for my car.

You can just buy paint and do it yourself though.

I've looked into HOK's paint before but can't seem to find any good examples of their colors other than small charts. Any clue where to see their colors on vehicles?

Thats awesome. I want a custom paint job but have no clue where I should take my car around here. I've always loved the blue used on the new Lambos.

discbrakesrus sells the colored brake calipers. They are Cobra calipers, so the question is not "will they fit on the '05's larger rotors", it's more like "can the '05 be upgraded to 13" cobra brakes like the SN95's"
