Mixing Lot?

They finally found my car at a mixing lot in Ohio and it is "waiting for transportation assignment"? Can anybody provide further details on what that is and how long I might be looking until delivery? I think it is supposed to end up at MD somewhere before it gets to my dealership.

I believe that a mixing lot is just a node in the transportation system. Different cars from different plants are brought there so that logical loads for the same areas of the East coast can be built and trucked out. The car could wait there for some time until there is a load ready to go. One of the Ford guys here will probably jump in and clear this up for you. Good luck, hope you get it soon.

Thats the last stop for the NOVA/DC area before Allied picks them up.
