Yes, there is a partial gap on the side next to the radiator cover. It appears to be equal in width for both sides. For me, the pieces provide a more finished look to the area. So far, no rubbing issues (yet).

I don't mind that small gap (when it's consistent) compared to the 6 inch gap between the fender and the rad cover.

I'm still on the fence on these. I know that the issuse associated with them are minor (rubbing in a few small sections and a wider than desired gap to the radiator cover).
What I don't understand is why these issues continue to exist. MWAG has been given ample customer feedback on the above mentioned issues on this particular product, yet they continue to sell it.

They do look good though, only wish they put quality ahead of the all mighty dollar.
