I got a call late yesterday afternoon from my salesman, Jose M., at Joe Cotton Ford in Carol Stream, IL. My Torch Red Premium GT (Spoiler Delete) finally arrived. I had placed my order this past May. I rushed to the dealership after work and within an hour of arrival I was driving my new Stang west on 64. It's more impressive than all the photos...just a beautiful car.

True to his word, no stickers were placed on my car, no dealer decals, no grimy fingerprints from gawkers...just 8 miles on the odometer. He told me that my car was the first that arrived and first sold at the dealership in Carol Stream. It was late by the time I got out of there so I don't have any pics.

On the drive to work this morning, I saw many backward glances, quite a few doubletakes and several thumbs up as I either passed folks or was stopped at stop lights.

It was well worth the wait!!! I love the interior...I did get the upgrade...as my eleven year old says "Dad, it's SWEEEEEEEET!"

Chicago .... They are here or coming!!!!

 

I talked to a guy at Landmark Ford in Springfield, IL and they still say there's another 2 weeks at least until they get in

 

How about Wisconsin?

I visited 2 biggest Ford dealers in my area (suburb of Milwaukee), one on 27th st, other on Layton ave., and none of them got new Mustang yet.

 

There's a Red GT manual trans with Black interior at
Terrys Ford in Peotone IL, their less than 1 hr south of chicago.
I was sittin in it about 1 hr ago
They want sticker price, no AXZ plans!
