I was at the ford dealership and he would only do 1500 above invoice on the gt and 1000 above invoice on the v6

Is 500 to low to be asking or should i just try to find some1 that will give 500 if they do

 

I would ask a few dealers, or try to find someone with the X plan that will help you out.

 

$500 is not too low. You should pickup the car between invoice and $500 over at a respectable dealer. Don't give in! Remember the more of us that walk away at these crazy prices the less ammo dealers have to demand them.

i saw a 2005 yellow v6/cloth/auto for 21000 at northport ford

 

I ordered at 500 over - however, went into Lou Sobh Ford in ATL and asked what they wanted for theirs - only $3k over MSRP! I laughed and told them what I ordered mine at and asked if they would match it - well, they laughed even harder... The guy then went on a rant on how he'll sell it at that price and sure enough, the car wasn't there when I drove past the next day.. stinkers born every minute.

I did not order yet. I am ordering on my birthday in January.
I had to find a dealer to order from first though. TWO gave me the $300 over invoice offer.A couple gave me a price of $21,515, The rest can go to the

If they have one that you like and can drive away with today thats a pretty darn good deal. If you have to order it I would try for 1000 over on a gt or less if you can get it.

 

so are you guys talking about 500 over invoice+holdback? im gonna be looking at mustangs this weekend at the dealership, but i have a feeling they won't go that low at all because of the demand for it. so i might just go and order a stang instead. Also, is it better to get 500 over invoice+holdback instead of the Xplan? please help me out casue i really need the final price to be under 20 G's if possible..maybe a little higher, is that too low?

About the only thing below 20 out the door is the most basic v6 with tax at invoice.

 

i hav ea friend that just got a work at a ford dealership...is the best deal possible for me an Xplan? or is 500 above invoice better? hmm.is it almost the same?
