I guess I'm a Nay for now. I'm going to wait and see what happens. I am hoping to see some shots at some point of these guys or someone else that has a cover w/ the fingers or at least some hips to the side. I like the fact that the engine bay looks more trimmed out, but I don't much care for the look. It reminds me too much of a shoebox. If I saw some other models that didn't look as good (the way I'm envisioning them), then perhaps I'd eat my hat and return. For now though... I'm not willing to commit $$$ when I feel that there could be something nicer.
I'm sure you guys will enjoy though. Can't wait to see some pics when you finally get em on. Perhaps it will grow on me.

UPDATE:
here is the message i recieved from Midwest today!!! It answers alot of everyones questions concering pricing etc.
Kevin,
Sorry we are so slow. The mounting has proven to be a bit of a challange and we don't want to send out anything the we may have problems with. Anyway the retail price is $134.95, this is what we are going to sell it for on our website. The one time forum group buy price will be $102.00 plus $10.00 shipping and handling if you have 50 or more buyers. If there are less than 50 it will $114.00 plus $10.00 shipping and handling. So, we will determine a drop dead date to get in on the group buy, which will probably be when the tooling is finished, and then we will need a list from you of all the poeple who are.

Looks like the bidding can begin. Note that delivery on the finished product is still a few weeks away.
