GT rates up in Mexico? I've been to many places in Mexico and I, as an American, would in no way on this planet drive my car there. It would be in a Federallys garage in no time.

An excellent approach and one that works probably 98% of the time. The other 2% is where one of the less intelligent find you while you're on the road at the same time as they are.

Drinking and driving is preached everyday. I know that most people have done it, and things worked out. However, when it don't its usuallly a hard lesson that doesn't allow the driver to learn, since they rarely live.

On the other hand, seems like when a drunk driver hits an innocent person, the drunk survives, and the bystander is killed

its always a sad situation, no matter what --- unfortunately this won't be the last person to drink and drive, then wreck and die.

Drunks usually escape major injury in a car accident because their body is relaxed when they go through the accdient. Keeping your body completely relaxed when trauma is happening to your body makes you less prone to bone breakage and inury. A good example of this is dropping your hand on a table when your hand is relaxed, then tensed. You'll feel the difference. Obviously, this wasn't enough to save this guy.

At least this guy just took himself out and didn't shove a family in a mini-van over the edge with him. I have no sympathy for a drunk driver.

Good judgement comes from experience, and a lot of that comes from bad judgement. Unfortunately, this fella didn't live to learn from his mistake. My thoughts go out to those who survive him.

being a victim of a drunk driver - I have no sympathy for him - I do however have sympathy for his family who have to live with his foolish decision. Its just Too bad, alot of people just dont get it and no matter what - the lesson will get repeated and quite a few still wont get it, Booze and cars dont mix.

wow you guys are heartless donkey doughnuts.... did u forget hes only 20??? doesnt seem like you guys are acting any older... when im sure most of you are.... anyway....

story...
girls turns 16... on the day of her birthday her parents give her a brand new H2.... she and a girl-friend take it out immediately and flip it on the highway that very day @ 85 mph trying to pass someone.... girl driving dies... now whos fault was this? if i were one of her parents i would not be able to live with myself...

im just saying when youre young you do unimaginably stupid things...dont act like you didnt or havent.... yea he was drunk... which is the ultimate sin while driving... however you dont have to act so cold about it... the mans (boy) is dead now... tragic for his family and HIM... im sorry he never got to have the mid-life crisis expereince that you all have...

20 years old, which probably means he couldn't afford the car. I assume the GT was given to him by someone close, probably the father, who wanted to make him happy. Whoever it was be he must feel like crap now.

I read about teenagers and young men being handed performance cars and I wonder what the parents are thinking about.
