God . . . that is the worst crash I've ever seen. It'd be a blessing if the driver/passengers survived.

Not to sound insensitive but its strange to see white walls on an 05. Or is that just the wheel.

He could have been trying to dodge some thing or hit a puddle. Its not always about driving skills.

The boneyard might find a few useable parts still. Always try to see the bright side. Otherwise, this pony is out to pasture.

Seeing as how he was drunk I can't feel to bad for him. A 20 year old driving a GT while drunk??? He never stood a chance.

I will say that I feel sorry for his friends and family.

That tactic has been done to death and it doesn't work.

Hasn't worked for drinking and driving, hasn't worked for smoking or drugs.

Besides, most teens have seen far worse pictures than those above considering global internet access. You want to see gruesome car accidents?...I bet there isn't a teen that hasn't been to rotten.com.

Bottom line is nobody has found a complete solution to the equation of:

youth + fast cars & motorcycles + booze

True but in most cases it is because of lack of skills. If he hit a puddle and lost control that bad, that most likely means he was speeding, which shows lack of experience. You should know better than to speed when in wet conditions. Anyway, as someone already said, he was drunk. End of story.

One less drunk on the road endangering my family and loved ones.

You drink, you drive, you lose.

Little off topic, but I caught just a snippet on the local news last night, (not sure if it made the nation wide news) but 2 people died out at Fontana Speedway (were NASCAR races out here in southern CA) local group rented the track and somebody driving one of those 400K+ Porsche GT's lost it for some unknown reason (blow out??). Went straight into the wall. Nasty.

What a waste of a life... And unfortunatley Jack Frost is right...
Bottom line is nobody has found a complete solution to the equation of:
youth + fast cars & motorcycles + booze
We all have stories from our past where someone we knew did this same thing. Its tragic. Here in Victoria about a year ago 4 kids died in a horrific crash in an old Chev Impala. Just fresh out of high school, drunk, speeding and hit a cement power pole. Tore the car in half...very sad.

Drill it into your kids folks...I know they'll give ya the old "Ya I Know...." B.S but don't stop drilling it in. I know we will never stop all of this but if ya can stop just 1, it's worth it !!

Teach them to RESPECT a car, its not a toy. Its a machine that can kill. And NEVER tip a drink down your throat and drive, or get in a car with some who has been drinking and driving that killing machine. Like I said, I know we cant stop them all, but that doesn't mean ya can't try !!

Well said Flight96. My kids are beginning to drive now and it's hard to get a 16 y.o. to understand that he's not immortal.
