Just wanted to start this early. Did a RT 66 cruise last memorial day from San Diego out to the Grand Canyon and had some pretty good interest but only three cars made the cruise. You guys missed one hell of a drive. I was thinking this year maybe going to Monterey via the coast. This would take about 9 hours, but should be a very scenic drive. The RT 66 cruise was a little longer than that last year. This year I would like to make it two days. There is just so much we missed last year because we wanted to be able to get to the GC on sunday morning. Or we could spend more time at the GC and hike to the bottom, something my wife really wants to do. This would require driving out via the 40 and maybe driving back, spliting time between the 40 and 66. Make sure to vote so I can start planning. I will be posting this on other forums so let me know of any others that might be down.
