Black is also another color that sticks out to cops. Prior to my S197 GTs I owned 3 Fox body cars which 2 of them were Black. The last was a Black "93" SVT Cobra and did get a ticket for going above 5mph over the speed limit in 25mph zone. But during the past 16 years of owning S197 GTs which both have been Red, I've never been pulled over for any moving violations. Either I've been really lucky or have just been more cautious lol.
Yeah I talked to the cops brother in law that patrols our town and he said that he is always saying that he is going to get me doing something one day. Lol so now what I do is when I come through the road that the sides are close and the car is loud I just hammer through there so its loud then take it out of gear to the stop sign where he sits and he just shakes his head

I used to see this blue car often, driver showing his *** at Walmart as he passed the walk outs a lot. Being at Walmart to see this, I was off duty in my POV. I just kept him in mind, even warned him at a resturaunt one day ... he got all defensive, uppity like. OK. Then one day I met him coming off an exit ramp from the Interstate onto the 4 lane state road ... past a stop sign (no stop) and then he hit it hard through the gears, he hit 83 before he noticed me coming the other way. Cured him.
Once back in the 'mid '70s I was headed to work out at my Kayo station, was a 4 lane roadway, a stop light or two on the way, outside of town, in a 55 zone. I was in my white '65 GTO, was a fella pulled up beside me at the red light in a green Firebird. We got into it upon green. I hit 3rd, looked at him in my mirror, then looked ahead, here came a Trooper with his eyes bugging out. I went maybe 1/4 mile, pulled into cross over to pull into work, Trooper was right behind me. I learned.

Lol I know I have stopped to talk to him once in a while only never in the mustang though. I always joke with him about that guy that has that black mustang and he always says that it's a nice car but just to loud to be out late so I try not to take it out if it's late then he might get me but probably pass when he recognizes me. Funny thing is though is that he even stops out front of my house to chit chat once in a while and the car is literally about 25' away but anyhow it's all in good fun. We always support our men in blue. And always will. Also thanks for your service.

That sure one bad @ss GT/CS you got there. Thanks for sharing images
That's only going to give him more reason to look for an excuse to get you doing something one day lol.
Might also be the same look as in " I told you so" lol.
Looks like I should move to your state as my TorchRed GT would fit in very well lol.
From what you've described. it seems like that he's just messing with you, or at least I hope so anyhow lol.

Not in my experience, but I'm sure those whom I stopped that just happened to be driving red cars felt otherwise. I only have a red Mustang, a red Mercury, a red F-150, and a red / white older F-150, and just recently sold our red Gold Wing trike. We do have a white Forester and a green Thunderbird. Case in point.

I noticed! Looks like you added either a ProCharger or Vortech SC and CDC shaker kit. Also really like your wheels, as they look a lot Shelby Razors, only in chrome? Once again, thanks for sharing images of your awesome ride

Oh no mistake, RED is a color that POPs out amongst a sea of white or grey or black SUVs, etc ... makes it easy to watch a quarter mile out front for the next 20. My point, there's non stigma attached to it because it's RED. RED doesn't cause higher radar readings, doesn't look faster to the eye either ... it just makes it easier to find once detected. Bright YELLOWS do it too as do many sharp BLUES.

Now that you mention it, it does make sense as bright colors like Red and Yellow are much easier to find once detected.. Guess I just never thought about it in that way before 2014 SGM Roush Stage 2 --------- Moderator------
