Called RL this morning and she says "your vehicle has arrived at the ramp"

From what I read from searching on this response is that it could be the "ramp" at either end of the route, the shipping ramp or the recieving ramp. I am waiting for a call back from my sales guy to confirm which it is

If it is the shipping ramp, it still may be a week or so :bang:

If it is the recieving ramp, it could be anytime

Dealer confirmed mine has arrived at the ramp in Tampa! He said depending on the number of vehicles to be transported and the availabilty of transporters to haul them, it could be anytime between today and next week , :bang:

I hope it's sooner than later, or I'm going to run out of finger nails

I haven't called ERL yet. No e-mail from my dealer means there is no status update to be had as of yet for my pony. Considering my car has to travel quite a bit further then everyone else (except for our lone Hawaii TMSer) I imagine I'll be a few days behind everyone.

 

I know how you feel... I waited 6 long months for mine. Hang in there.

I hope I don't get caught up in the rail car shortages! I'd really like to have my pony for the holiday.

 

If there was only a way to see it moving east in my case west in yours, wouldn't you feel better ? I freaked the woman out the other day at CSX when I told her the car number. She wanted to know who I was calling from. Told her it was personal, and she cooled right down. They must not like being bothered for non chemical/military or aricultural individual car psychos !

 

Ugh the truck broke down last night...finally got the call late this afternoon that it's here and am going to pick her up around lunch time tomorrow!!!! Good luck to those of you still waiting for delivery.

 

Built on 5/19-5/20 was shipprd on 5/21 arrived at dealer 5/25 but I cant pick up until 5/30 ordered from Duval ford in Jax,Fl and live in Chicago fly out Monday morning and straight to dealer I,M GOING CRAZY THIS WILL BE THE LONGEST 5 DAYS OF MY LIFE!!!!!

Flat Rock to Portland: 1960 Miles (1960/195.6 = 10 Days or 5/29 )

And that's assuming no delays at all.

 

Well, not exactly "lone." Irwin is out there somewhere crusing around the rock, but I think I am the only one waiting right now out here in the middle of the pacific.

It will be interesting to see how long it does take, but you should definitely have yours before me, Ryan, so take it around the block a few times for me.

Checked ERL tonight on my way home. "at the ramp" IMmediately called salesman, IT's IN ! . If I hadn't called to check I wouldn't have known, because he was busy and going away for the weekend and wanted to be there to deliver it to me. Me "sorry dude, I can't wait, I pick it up tomorrow" It gets its detail at 9:30, I am heading there before noon to get my car.

I'm still waiting for mine to make it from the ramp to the dealer, it's been at the ramp since tuesday :bang: . Sales guy says it could be anytime. He said they got a carrier in yesterday, but all that was on it were F-150's and Explorers.
It's a biatch too, on my home from work everyday, I pass within about half mile of the rail yard it is sitting in. Makes me want to stop by and go looking for it myself.

Called the ERL and got the following, "Due to an emergency at the Ford Business Assistance Center we are unable to take your call" MMMMM

 

Yeah, I got that message this morning also. I wonder what that means?

And the wait continues... :bang:

 

Last I knew I'm still waiting for my car just to show up to the ramp. I haven't called ERL today but it sounds like she's hosed.

The bad thing is that if it shows up after Saturday the earliest I can get it is Wednesday! The bank is closed on Sunday/Monday and I have a final in class on Tuesday.

 

I got mine. What a nice car. Responsive, quick, just awesome. I'm going to start a new thread with my pics, then go drive.

 

Got the call from the dealer today; car showed up today at 1:30 this afternoon
I will be picking it up in the morning. I will start a new thread with pics tomorrow.
