So I ordered my vert on 11-3 and got a call a couple weeks ago from the dealer saying that there is a material hold on 18G (IUP).

My question is did anyone else get this call and do you think I will have to wait past april to get my stang?

Also dealer said I could change my order to the sport apperance package.

Should I wait it out or change my order, if I want my mustange here by the end of April?

This has been an ongoing issue, see the sticky labeled Urgent IUP Update for details. They are starting to slowly build cars with IUP now, you DO NOT have to change your order to the sports appearance package. However if you did, that would be one more car out of the way of mine getting built with IUP. So, uh, yeah, you should change your order to the sports appearance package right away!!!

I was on Matl Hold for quite awhile also. All the convertibles were that were ordered before they started scheduling any of them because they were verts not because of the IUP. First week of January the Matl Hold was changed to Clean/Unscheduled on mine because they started serializing and scheduling vert production. That is where I am now probably because of the IUP.

Goes from one thing to another.

 

I think mine still has a hold because of the IUP. when will it be built???? hopefully before april...

 

Does anyone know if they started producing convertibles yesterday as was the plan? If so, what is the soonest they will realistically be in circulation?
