I disagree with everything but the optional colors for the GT. But Ford will never go for that. I love the lights in the grille. The only things I would change are:" 1) I think it would be cool if the rear seats would fold down flat like they did with the 2+2s in the 60s. 2) I don't like the fake looking medallion between the tail lights. I have been thinking about taking it off and bolting on a 60s era pop open gas cap. At least it wouldn't look so unrealistic, even if it weren't functional.

 

i would like to see
1) a ducktail spoiler integrated into the body (maybe even have it be for GT's only a way to difinatively tell them apart)
2) something to spice up the bland hood (NO FAKE JUNK! FUNCTIONAL or just a lil cowl)
3) the GT emblems are kinda boring
4) a painted stripes option (i know not everyone likes them but it would be a cool factory option)
5) some wild colors, why have a retro car with only one retro color, gimme some grabber grenn, grabber blue, wild blues lol
6) the mycolor should change all lights

and thats all i can think of, its an aweseme car the way it is, but since were on the subject of nitpicking

Sorry for wrecking the thread I'm seriously hung-over after a project celebration party last night. I thought I'd gone too far with the 'towel' comment...(no-one posted for a while after I wrote it - maybe everyone got a sudden urge for a quick "bathroom break"?)

Mycolor should definitely change ALL lights. How stupid is it to have the ability to pick your own colors as long as about half of them are green. Whats up with that??

 

I agree wholeheartedly with this idea....... and as far as the original post, I agree with all except I think the fogs are fine right where they're at

 

The rocker stripes are hideous but they are an option. Most GT's i have seen dont have them but just about every v6 does.

I think the only thing I would really change is the taillights. I liked the concept ones that looked like the shelby style cougar lamps from the 60's better.

5. Leather center console pad
6. My Color across all interior
7. HID headlamps

 

A smaller antenna would look better I think.

Here's Rips top 7 if I had to do it list,
1 :More body colors for the GT ...like dark green ,root beer brown(74 Cougar color)Cherry blossom black(has a red tone to it).
2: More interior colors ..like white ,dark green,red,dark blue including 2 tone .
3: Small interior GT badge on center of doors ...like the true classic muscle cars .
4:Optional Crome intake cover (like the missing one )and crome valve covers to match
5:Mycolor "complete dash"option.
6efinatly powertrunk switch in car!!
7:Better headliner and carpet ...man that stuff is cheap.

Like anything if some of this was optional I wouldn't mind paying extra for it at all ...even the carpet and 4 yes "4" floor mats ...
