This makes me think GTAs are louder than stock
Check out this video, this sure sounds louder than stock to me. I think this is a GT-H because of the hood and I don't see any shifting.

The Hertz that I rented did sound a bit louder than my GT with the GTAs - if I am remembering correctly.
The Shelby also has the X-pipe (mine doesn't), but I've read that it really doesn't add to the volume. Maybe it does.
Another factor might be the Shelby's CAI and 91 tune - my car has neither.
My GTAs come alive at about 3500 rpm. They sound pretty much stock (at least inside the car) at lower RPM. But at WOT, they sing.
One thing I've realized about this generation Mustang is that because the mufflers are so far back, they seem to sound quite a bit louder from the outside than from the driver's seat.

My GTAs are definitely louder. The Hertz I rented was definitely louder than my stock GT. Now that I have them I can tell they are starting to mellow somewhat and get a little louder. They "burble" when letting off the gas a little. Great sound with no drone in the vert.

Yes, it is a for sure. It is not tremendously louder, but it is louder, it would be closer to little than a lot though. I was the first to get and install the GTA's, and I am somewhat amused how some (that don't have them, and are only speculating) say that the FRPP X-pipe makes a higher pitch, when in reality it is the opposite. That may be true with some X-pipes, but not the FRPP one that the Shelbys use and I have installed. It smoothed the exhaust pulses out and gave it a lower, louder sound.

Thats exactly what I noticed.I had installed the FRPP X-pipe before removing the Stingers and it sounded a lot smoother( it still had the trombome drone @ 2000rpm).Then I traded for the GTA's and they sound off when thrashing but quiet down on cruize @ 2400rpm.

I just ran across this and it looks like Supreme Performance which makes the GTAs also makes the CherryBomb mufflers too.

All the drone talk has me keeping my distance from FRPP/Borla and I thought I wnated GTAs but I'm concerned it won't be enough of a difference for me.
I need to hear some of these setups in person in order to make a decision.

Haven't looked back since I installed the GTA's.
Just my 2 cents worth.
