Which magazine is the best?

Not sure if this is the right section.

What magazine do you guys recommend? Which has the best tech sections for the new Mustangs?

I got Mustangs and Fast Fords, but it seemed to be just ads?

Thx

5.0 is excellent IMO and it's cheaper than MM&FF. They had the best article on the new 5.0, which makes sense given their name. I get them both but I could easily drop MM&FF.

MM&FF does have a lot of ads. 5.0 is good. Advertising is revenue

Both have good articles. If you subscribe, they both are really cheap. So get them both.

FWIW, both are publish by the same group. Many of the same people are involved with both.

They do, but first they merged with a classic Ford Magazine, then they dropped modern coverage altogether.

My favorite tends to be Mustang Enthusiast. They tend to showcase projects real people actually do, like a suspension upgrade or big brake install rather than the $20,000 engine builds that seem to be common fare in MM&FF or 5.0.

That being said, I read all three

Question Maybe it's just me now?

Read and subscribed to the MM&FF's for years before getting the 2007 GT/CS. But finally had to drop them about a year ago. This when IMO they like many others had become some what of an Ad-*****. With about 50% of their mag now looking like a color Mustang parts catalog! With ads placed on almost every page, even across the story articles themselves. But on other hand, if you are really looking to buy lots of cool goodies for your ride every single month, then maybe it's not so bad after all? I will pick up a Mustang mag if I see an interesting S-197 article. But that can be rare these days, because they have all become so very proud (cost) of their Mustang Magazines now! CalStang

P.S. I did save/remove the really great MM&FF "How-To" write up articles they had in there, when the S-197 came out! And then put them all in a big three ring binder, for my young grandson when he gets to have his hand with this great fun 2007 GT/CS someday."RC"

Some people prefer Playboy for the articles, I prefer Penthouse for the pics.

I think they all end up with the same content just on different months.

I'm a fan of "Mustang Enthusiast" A good mix of new and old and everything in between. Not alot of ads and the mag covers all aspects of the cars from performance to appearence.

Well after being a subscriber of MM&FF for almost 17 years i recently had to drop them because they claimed I owed them $34.99 and that they turned it in to collections. I had to call them and explain to them firmly but politely that I did not renew and was not going to pay it. The lady finally removed it from my account. I will never subscribe to MM&FF again.

I also used to get MM&FF, but stopped about a year ago for two reasons.
First, they never talk about any classic Mustangs.
And second, they are called "& Fast Fords", but there are rarely any stories on other Fords (other than Lightnings every now and then).

There is a mag that used to publish (now it is online only) called Legendary Ford magazine- excellent mag, just never took off, I guess. I was royally pissed when Modified got merged, and then the classic editor took over. Guy really botched that mag- and I was ready to order a subscription! Of all the ones out there, 5.0 is the best of the bunch. MM+FF, well, not so much.
If you just like muscle cars, check out Hemmings Muscle Machines and Muscle Car Review. Great mags. Hot Rod is back on a "we like Chebbies" kick, and Car Craft is kind of the same.
