The bottom line is what's your dealer allocation and how many are ahead of you?
There are plenty of GTs on Ebay at MSRP. Shop around.

Ordered on 9/9/05, VIN'd on 9/15/05, and got build week of 10/10/05..... so, very fast in my opinion. What priority number is on your VOC? I would go back to the dealer and ask him what is going on ?? Unless the dealer you ordered from is a small dealer with very little allocation ??

I'm priority 12 on my VOC. I was second in line for a GT now i'm #1 apparently. The dealer is Schultz in Nanuet, NY - fairly high volume for the area.
I read a while ago that the northeast was getting hosed on GT allocations, is this still the case?

No way am I paying MSRP, I have a plan price locked in. Maybe that's why I'm getting hosed?

That could be what's happening with your X-plan. Most of the dealers out West claim that they can get a GT in 6-8 weeks if you pay MSRP or MSRP plus. I know that there are a lot of people on here that have been waiting for months.
You should talk to ISELLFORD who is a dealer in the Chicago who will get you a GT at the X-plan price. It might take 2-3 months.

$500 non-refundable deposit at my current dealership :bang: otherwise, I'd seriously consider it

From a legal standpoint, your dealer MUST refund your deposit. I would talk to the owner about it. When I ordered my GT the dealer wanted a $1000 non refundable deposit. I said no way, and they offered a $500 refundable deposit.
You need to ask your dealer when is the next GT allocation going to you, otherwise you may be waiting for a long time.

I've been waiting since June and still do not have a build date. I'm just outside of Toronto, any word on Canadian orders?
There's not many GT's on the road around here yet.

Canada - tough to get GT's, esp GT manuals.
My car took 6 months to the day from order to delivery. Just picked it up last Friday - it had just about every "impossible to get" option...but it's finally here.
Check with your dealer on their allocation of GTs...where is your dealer exactly? I got my Mustang from a dealer just between London and Woodstock.

Is there a difference between how many orders a dealer can put in vs. how many stock cars they get? I was apparently "next in line" and Ford.com shows two vert GTs either at or headed to my dealer. What's up with that?
