looking at 08 bullitt

Hi, been a while because I sold my 05 gt about 1 year ago. have been regretting that since the day I did it. so I am back looking and like the bullitt alot. found a few some in the low $20k price range, found one with 70k miles on it for $18k and the pics look like it was very well maintained. assuming they may deal down to 17 0r so, what are your thoughts?

is the value of the bullitt wrecked due to that many miles?

because I sold mine with only 23k on it, how have these stangs held up with higher miles? appreciate the feedback

I can't say comment on a bullit since I don't have one but I have an '05 gt with 85K miles on it and it drives amazing. You would never know it had that many miles on it. I bought it new and it has always been maintained extremely well and not driven hard.

You may want to check out one of the threads posted the other day about a milestone...there were a few guys in the 200K's range with their cars and they said they still drive like a dream.

My take on it is this...take it for a spin, slowly with the windows up and look for anything that stands out. I think you can get a lot out of a car just by the feel. You'll know instantly if something were out of place, especially since you owned one for a while.

Bullitts are fun, and now's a good time to pick up a clean, low mileage example. While they're probably OK with higher mileage, there are plenty of low mile Bullitts around. They're the kind of car that many people bought to just drive occasionally, but many have been sold or traded in for newer cars... I'm sure you can get a decent deal on one with fewer than 30K miles. If you like the '05-'09 body style (I do), the Bullitt is one of the nicest 'GT Mustangs to have, of that style. I enjoy mine a couple days a week, and it's up to about 14K miles now... If you're ready to pick one up, keep your eye on the classifieds in the IMBOC forum. They come up for sale every few days, both the New Edge (2001) and S197 (2008, 2009) Bullitts.
You've got to get a green one, though.
