ordered 1/18. not a long wait i know that but i know whats ahead. im just afraid im gonna end up with nothing yet people who order today will somehow get theirs before me....that would make me angry.....my order should definitely be pulled by mid-end of feb
It's your dealer not Ford....just ask Karpo he is an honest salesman here on the forums. There have been delays on people getting "Clean Scheduled" due to parts shortages but the order goes in the next day. Kind of like getting in line a week before the Super Bowl tickets go on sale just to make sure you are there when things get rolling again. No DORA, then you aren't even in line yet.

see look at rods post above mine....he ordered in nov and nothing.....there r people who have ordered WITH IUP AND ALL later than him who have build dates already. im gonna start harassing the dealer in another 2 weeks if they dont give me a DORA by then.
You should have been harassing them on 01/19 for your DORA. By the way, if you call me asking me to do my job, it really shouldn't be considered harassing.

Ordered Nov 18th still C/U. Spoke with my dealer today and he seems to have no idea when I will get pulled I'm really hoping Ford can maintain the 100% IUP allocation for a few weeks to get to a lot of our old orders.

Ordered mine 11/18/2004...... still c/u :bang: My dealer is a small dealership, I sorta feel like Ford somewhat caters to the bigger dealerships. My dealership hasn't had many new stangs at all.... maybe 4 or 5 since November.....

Ordered in late May and took delevery in late October.....a little over 5 months here....

However, those of us that ordered the cars before job 1 and the final production will most likely have the longest wait. Just pay attention to those that ordered in November and beyond to get an accurate time line.

From what I understand, there is around a 4-5 month waiting period for right now....

I work at Ford Motor Credit and you are right.... the larger dealerships get their allotment before the smaller dealerships because they are bigger and do more business with Ford. It's actually a bit more complicated than what I am saying here, but overall the bigger dealerships and turn over more cars get more attention from Ford Credit.

Come spring time, we'll all start seeing a lot more stangs on the lots...

Welcome aboard RCW! I think your car was one of the first few thousand that got caught up in the hold for a complete going over with a fine tooth comb. If I remember right, the first 4-5 thousand were held back. I thought they had all been delivered though. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I haven't ordered yet, but I know I get my car on June 11! The Pony Drive may be over four months away, but it is nice knowing the exact day of delivery. It has to be torture just waiting, knowing nothing, and getting blank stares from the dealer and Ford. At least I have a specific day to look forward to.
OK, I'm stupid, you are getting a car on a certain date but you did not order? What is a pony drive?

Why do you think your order will definately be pulled by mid Feb, that would only be a month from your order date, I have been waiting for two months and I have not been pulled yet...still C/U........Then again , the way things have been going you probably will get pulled and built and delivered and i will be still C/U, Ford needs a new system for sure, it sux
