Ordered 12 December 2004. As of today still clean and unscheduled. Anyone else been waiting as long as I have?

 

That stinkS! Ordered mine 12/04, picked her up 01/21. Your dealer must have alotment problems and never had the professional courtesy to let you in on it! That is just NOT RIGHT! Good luck, lonestarfighter!

 

Wow, that's a long time. Have you asked your dealer to check into exactly what their allotment is and how many people they have on a waiting list ahead of you?

 

I ordered mine 12-7-04. It was finally built on April 30th, but hasn't shipped out yet for some reason. Good luck with yours!

And now the rest of the story, I found one on the INTERNET exactly like I ordered .Drove 5 hrs thru sleet and snow on Feb 21 and bought it for 50.00 under invoice 25,457.00. 20 cars in the ditch on the trip to the dealer, the whole time I was driving I kept asking myself , self am I an idiot or what? Took it to a cruise in last night and plenty of people drooled over it. Don.t feel like an idiot any more!!!

I truly feel bad for everyone still waiting, hopefully you will get your stangs sooner than later, good luck!!!

 

Wow, I feel for you. You have to apply some pressure to the sales manager at your dealership. I was having some trouble getting any meaningful info on my order. Then I was determined to find out why I was told by my salesman that my order from 2/16/05 may not get built as an 05 order. I asked to talk to the manager and after he got with his inventory manager who called the Ford rep, I found out yesterday that my order will be "pulled" the week of 5/16/05. So the moral of the story is to get with your salesman's boss or higher until you get some info on your order. Have them contact a person at Ford like I did to get real information. They need to talk to real people. not computers and make Ford understand that you are an important customer that is not too happy right now. Best of luck, you have been waiting long enough!

NO I got my deposit back no problem. I called my salesman while I was test driving the one I bought, told him what I was doing and he said buy it. 'cause he didn't know when or if he would ever get the one I ordered from him. They didn't cancel the order and they still don't have it.

 

Bites that it hasn't arrived yet... I'd get your mind off it for a while.
