Dealer put mine on for me. I didn't know WTF until I was digging around in the glove box and found some lugnuts and a key. At the dealer I bought from, they leave the spinners and locks off until its detailed for purchase. Guess they don't want the spinners stole while they are waiting for a new home.
Funny, someone just asked for a picture of the locking lugson a different thread, so I took one.
My dealer put them on for me when they prepped the car for me. No problem installing them. Just switch a lug for a locking lug. The key (in my hand) fits inside a 13/16" socket. Put the key in the socket, put the lock on the lug and turn like normal.
Make sure you carry the key with you incase you get a flat while traveling. Otherwise you won't be able to take the flat off to get the spare on.

Yes. I talked with a dealer that got about a dozen mustangs in the first load. He said that night someone stole ALL the center caps off all the mustangs.
The key says "McGard" on it.

Does anyone know who makes the factory locks? And how good do they appear to be?
Super Glue those Spinners?????????? Is that even possible?
Looking at the picture closely, I guess that would be a real bad idea, couldn't get all the lugs off. Sorry for offering the Super Glue Idea.... Be safe tonight

Went to put my locking nuts on but the wrent doesn't fit with the center cap still on, it's only held on with spring tabs but didn't want to take a chance bending it. Anyone pryed theirs off and did it bend at all?
I've got the "upgraded/concept" wheels.

how is the spinner attached by the way?

i agree the spinner caps come off way to easily my local dealer has allready had a few sets stolen off the lot .....it ashame too because i was going to buy a set of spinners for my gt bullits..
Thinking of picking up a spinner for the 66 mustang from Scott Drake to see if it would fit the bullit wheels .There made of cast steel and have a backing plate thats screws on the back side .Looks good IMO close to the ones offered by ford but different center cap ( has the horse and tri-bar logo ).
Anyone tried this idea yet? Or is the center hole on the rim a different size than the 66?
