To all the people who have an 05 stang....

Doesn't it feel darn good getting so much attention driving around in it? I just love getting that look of amazement everytime someone takes a peak at my car.

So to all the 05' mustang owners out there... may your stang bring you happiness like mine has to me

Rock on

I was actually expecting more attention. But then again, maybe I'm getting it but not noticing. I was pulling into a Cracker Barrel with my dad, and once we get inside he says, "Did you see those girls checkin out your car?" I had no idea anyone else was looking at it. I am still amazed by it myself. When I am in it, nothing else matters (or catches my attention).

Tekman, I am like you... I dont notice when I am driving it as much... only when they are REALLY obvious.. Like the guy who practically fwll out of his truck on the freeway he was leaned out so far checking mine out.

I do notice it a lot when I park it. When out to dinner tonight, as we walked away from it, a group walked past it and they all stopped and stared. I like to park it where I can see it while its sitting there, and it always has people surrounding it. Once over the weekend I counted 10 people just milling around it at once.

I'm loving it. I have never owned a new model 1st edition car before.

On the way home today, I had a car pacing me and going in front then back to the side with the driver doing neck contortions to look at my ride the whole time.

I find myself laughing out loud. Must keep car on road...

Hey there Billy Bob.... Not to change the subject here, but how's things going with you and your Stang? I remembered from a previous post that you were giving thought to giving the car back to the dealership over a spoiler install issue, and a few other items. Glad to see you appear to be lovin it again.....because this is the best choice IMO.

Ummmm, BAMBAM, not sure who you were aiming your post at, but we ALL know they are looking at the car. I have yet to see anyone post anything close to what you suggested.

No offense, but do you think you could read posts before replying?

Uhm . . . isn't that abvious to everybody? I don't think he was getting the impression that people were looking at him. It's all about the car! And if a little extra attention comes to the owner because of it then thats great too!

Ah yea.... about that.... I actually called the "Head Hancho" of the whole dealership... shared with him my complaints (long list of them) and he's looking into getting me a big price cut.

It was a long battle w/ some of the dealer employees... but I think once I finally decided to call the big boss of the whole dealership.... it set things straight.

So things are a'ok now

You don't need a half dressed bleached blond with funky platform heels to draw a crowd in an 05. Just go by gas and you have crowd. A GM lot also draws people. Park you Pony right at the
fromt door and look a chevy pickup for half an hour.

Touchy touchy, I must have misinterpreted it, so sorry. I guess I know too many people that think their Gods gift to humanity because of what they drive. Apparently not the case here.

I don't know who has the most potential of causing an accident. People looking at my car while I am driving or me cause I am trying to wave to all the people looking at the car while I am driving it.

I seem to get the most attention when I am wiping the car down at a car wash after I washed it. One day last week I was wiping it down and had 12 people within about 45 minutes stop to look at it.

The most I have done to acknowledge people on the road is return a thumbs up to a girl in her late 20's in a Honda at a stoplight and give a Suburban a show in handling at 80 on the highway.

This car is an absolute blast to drive. At times, I'll turn off the stereo just to listen to the engine. My daughter (2 1/2) loves it and tries to imitate the exhaust note. Just going on errands is fun again. I love it!
