BLOODY GUTS JINXED ME

So I'm leaving best buy and I see this cop 4 cars back on the other side of the intersection. I go throught it and then that side goes and I can see this guy weaving in and out of traffic to catch up with me, I'm like great. This clown follows me through 2 more red lights. The whole time I see him looking back and forth between my license plate and his computer screen with his hands on the keyboard (or himself because my car is awesome). I know this jerk is out for blood so I'm real careful in what I'm doing. Regardless the blues come on and I get invited to the pants party.

He comes up to my car, I give him the license and registration and like a tough guy he's like "you know why I pulled you over?". I'm like "no idea". He's like "you were following the car in front of you too closely, like half a car length away!". At this point I'm thinking to myself, are you f-ing kidding me? Maybe I was that close away at the stop light but this guy is crazy. Maybe he was just jealous because nobody was riding his a!@. Then he sucks in his gut and puffs his chest out and is like "don't you know the minimum safe distance from a car in front of you?". I'm like "no idea". He just smirks and goes back to his car, doing his ticket thing and I'm really getting pissed off.

He comes back and hands me my stuff and the ticket and he just says "It's just a warning" and walks back to his car before I can say "that's right, you ain't got !@#$ on me"

That really is a crock of you know what. Some cops aparently don't have more important things to do.

I felt better a half mile later on the highway when a young girl around 21 with giant milk cartons in a low cut shirt literally hung out the window @ 75 mph screaming NICE CAR.

She was with who I presume was her boyfriend otherwise I would have said NICE $@!S and gave her my number

 

since i was the first person other than yourself to mention the headlight incident earlier today, i take full responsibility for the pull-over tonight.

but the girl's compliment was all you. good job!

 

I didn't jinx you...... you got out of the ticket. I'm just spreading the love.

I've been driving in Dustin's town for over 30 years. The cops have always been outrageous. It is also one of the safest cities in the country. Even the honest people aren't safe from the cops checking them out. When my mom was about 65 they stopped her suspicious behavior (she was driving home from work and cut through a parking lot). Now that I have my Mustang, I know how a rabbit feels in a field of wolves. [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/eek.gif[/img] The cops are looking at me and shooting me with the radar gun in all the places they usually hide (even though I know they are there and am obviously going the speed limit).
Decades ago, I got chased down by half the guys on patrol because a footpatrolman saw me go through a yellow. [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/headscratch.gif[/img]

i was fully expecting the cop to say "you know why i pulled you over? ...Because i just got an 06 gt, yours is most awesome, and i wanna know what mods you recommend"

If a cop pulled me over just to look my car over I would have the chief on the phone as soon as I got home
