Took the cover off the mustang yesterday and stared at it for a while. A beautiful car in the garage with lots of snow, dirt and snow mixed and ice chunks on the driveway - sidewalk. I was tempted to take it out for a sort cruise but was concerned with all the rocks put down from the sanding trucks. I did start it, ran fine. Sadly I put the car cover back on for another month and a half at least. Gotta love Alberta winters....not!

I don't think I could take storing away the Mustang for months on end. As it is if i'm ever without it for a couple of days I start to pull my hair out. Last time I went almost two weeks without my Mustang I was dying a slow, painful death.

Its a riding arena for Horses, The CarCapsule has a small fan, like in a computer case flowing air, Air seeps out the zipper and it gets a constant flow of air.You drive up onto the thick plastic bottom and pull the top portion over the car then zip the bottom up.. Car comes out as perfect as you put it in.

Saturday I cleaned off the drive really well, started her, let her run for 5 or so minutes. After I got some heat into her I drove her up and down the drive acouple times, then put her back in the garage.. Hopefully next week it'll all clear up and I can take her for a real spin.
This.

And haven't driven her on the streets since November

The rust is slowly eating away at the '99 Stang which is the winter beater. I couldn't bring myself to expose the new pony to Buffalo winters

..I went home for lunch and was going to bring her out to go back to work. It was a windy, but clear, day so I figured what the hell. ...so, as I'm walking out to the garage to wake her up a branch bigger then my arm (my arms are pretty big) goes bouncing past me.

I walked straight to the truck and went back to work. lol

Maybe next week.

Sunday morning, while the wife and son slept, I got up and layered on the warm clothing, drove the Stang down to the local "wave-a-wand" car wash, and cleaned her up. Drove it home and wiped her down in the garage (with the door closed - it was 18 degrees!). Did the wheels and tires, wiped out the interior. After a couple of hours, I re-affirmed how much I simply love this car. Winter sux!

First snowfall was December 1st. Put the stang away the day before. Getting really sick of driving the Cherokee at this point, I want my pony back.

Drove mine with the top down today for the first time in months! Only 50 degrees though, reminded me of that first 2005 vert commercial with the north dakota freezing to death with the top down. In case you didn't know, the heaters on the vert are AWESOME!

Today (Tuesday), roads have been clear of snow for a week, just bits of melting snow and water pools here and there. What a rush, still puts a smile on my face.

Weather is improving here in KC. Supposed to be 50s by the end of the week. Clear, dry and a little cool. So, drove her to work today. Needed a quarter tank of gas, so I fill her up at Phillips 66. The pump stuck "on" and some gas ran down the side of the Mustang. I had to immediately take her by the car wash to rinse off the gas residue. Does that short amount of time strip the coat of wax on the car?

What's the price of one of the carcapsules? Looks like a great way to kepp all the elements off the paint job.
