In my researching aftermarket leather, most places use vinyl on the edges (two-tone or not). Vinyl will outlast leather, and you can't even tell a difference. That's why I went aftermarket, more leather (in the middle sections) and better quality leather.

v-6 cloth in mine, but i changed one out to the GT cloth because the running ponies look oh so cool!!! oh and the parchment got really really dirty since i am a klutzy slob!!!
so now on my second one i am also debating aftermarket leather...

Got cloth on my GT.

Just more comfortable to me for a variety of reasons. To each their own.

I went with cloth for my GT. I sat in both and felt that the cloth seats were more comfortable.

I wanted torch red - she did not like it - we got sonic blue
She said - what about blue - I thought windveil is classic looking mustang - she said -- no sonic
I wanted ICAP - she said " looks like early spanish girl of ill reputehouse"
I wanted leather - she said it gets too hot
I wanted GT she said -- YES
WE took possession of our sonic blue GT with dark charcoal cloth interior on 8/2
I LOVE this car and would not change it .

Leather, I didn't like the running ponnies throughout the cloth , just wasn't my thing so I opted for the premium package with the leather, etc. Light graphite to be exact.

Actually, I have both! I ordered my GT with cloth to keep the costs down and my legs from getting fried here in Florida in the summertime. And that's the way I voted. But the cloth will wear over time so I've hedged my bet.

I got a great deal on eBay on a new take off of the dark charcoal leather and have stashed that away for 3-4 years from now when the cloth gets old and tired. I'll do a quick reupholstery then and try out leather for a change!

For $700, I sure as heck demand real leather. Otherwise what's the point? I can buy vinyl covers that look pretty good for probably less cost.
what's the point? I don't know - you tell me why 70% of the GT buyers in this poll got leather...

I personally have always had cloth interiors since 1980, and before that it was vinyl. This is my first car with leather, and I think the seats feel great. That's good enough for me.

I wanted Dark Charcoal Cloth. The Mustang thing does not bother me so much.

I didn't go for leather cause of the Alabama Swamp Heat-My mother has leather, and I don't like peeling myself off it. BUT it turns out having a cave of an interior is as much torture as having leather.

I have leather in my Blazer, and I hate it. Freezes me in the winter, and like seating on a hot griddle in the summer. Nah... cloth was the only option for me.

I plan to order leather only because I want the side airbags and you need leather for that option. I do plan to change it to some nicer leather and add a seat heater. I did look at that place katzkin and they have something that they clam heats and cools the seats! Anyone seen that before?

You do not need leather for the Side airbags. You need the IUP.

Ahh really...guess I read that wrong thanks! Well are the cloth seats the same as the leather just a different seatcover on it? That would make the price a little less I have read cloth bucket seats or sport bucket leather...didnt know if that means they are difeferent.

Yes, its the same seat with different upholstery. Bolstering is no different between the two.
